So, can we then pray to you direct for graces or do we pray to you to ask for your intercession to obtain the graces from God?

Mother Mary’s answer:

I asked.
Thanks be to God.

Meaning: Here Mother Mary clarifies the real meaning of the event that took place at the Wedding of Cana when Jesus performed the Miracle of changing water into wine upon Mother Mary’s request, even if His time has not yet come.

Jesus did this not because He felt beholden to Mother Mary or that Mother Mary has the power to persuade God to go against His better judgement but that she can obtain special favors from God because she knows God’s heart well.

This story also explains the real meaning of her title as Mediatrix of all Graces. Mother Mary does not act her own volition and dispense of graces on her own accord. All graces that we receive from her are from God. This is something anyone who has received graces through Mother Mary’s intercession or any saint should remember. This is why she said: First thank God then thank me. (Chapter 13:The Mystery that is Mary)

Question: So it’ ok for us to always come to you for your help with God but we should never forget God in the process of doing so?

Mother Mary’s answer:

Intercessor par excellence

Meaning: Yes. Intercessor par excellence is also the definition of Mediatrix of all Graces. Par excellence means “better or more than all others of the same kind”:7

Question: The Wedding at Cana story has also been misinterpreted as an indication that you are more soft-hearted, more compassionate, more understanding than Jesus/God – the “heart of a mother”. Can you please comment on this?

Mother Mary’s answer:

There is no greater love than to die for a friend.

Mother Mary repeats the statement Jesus made during the last supper:

This is my commandment: love one another as I love you. No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. (John 15:12-13)

Question: When you said “You know his heart well.” What do you mean by this statement?

Mother Mary’s answer:

Twin hearts
I know how He feels.
I appeal to His mercy. I can expedite because I know how much He loves you.

Mother Mary uses the word expedite to emphasize that the graces we receive through her intercession are graces that God is willing to give to us... she just speeds up the process for us to obtain them

Question: ... and we don’t know how much God loves us?

Mother Mary’s answer:

It is beyond you.
If you know how much He loves you, you know He would move Heaven and earth for you.
